Lyraka

 

"Lyraka - The Mermaid Empire"  is an epic coming-of-age  tale about Neires, an aspiring guitarist who realizes that he's destined for so much more - it's an adventure of self-discovery as he embarks on a journey across a desert landscape to follow the call of the mermaid haunting his dreams. Along the way, he navigates manipulation and betrayal, even amongst his own family, while they face an ancient prophecy and compete for the throne after the death of its previous ruler.  A sinister force lurks in the abyss - an amphibious demon, a threat to both the kingdom on land and the empire below the sea, who wields mind-control magic and escapes his watery prison, greedy for power. 

 

"Lyraka - The Runed Lands" is about an archaeologist who runs into a dagger-wielding rogue while searching for artifacts. He shadows her with intent to steal her finds. She is also plagued by encroaching magic upon her manor, and a whispering entity attempting to escape from its phylactery.

 

The Lyraka project has released music written by composer-guitarist Andy DiGelsomina. The Lyraka CDs are composed of two volumes, and boasts the world-class talents of Graham Bonnet, Al Atkins, Mark Boals, Ken Kelly and several others.
